Who We Are...
The BAFCA was formed in 1992 under its original name of The National
Football Coaches Association by a group of senior British coaches who
recognised the need for a such a body.
The objectives were to facilitate communication between coaches,
provide mutual support for personal development and to present a
collective voice within British football.
In 1993, the BAFCA was recognised by BAFA as its official coaching
body. The name was changed in 1996 to The British American Football
Coaches Association to more clearly define our role to external
parties.
