Southampton Stags (BUAFL)

The Southampton Stags are a successful BUAFL team in its 21st year of existence and have won 4 National Titles since the team’s creation. The team is based at the University of Southampton. In previous years recruiting has been conducted from both the University of Southampton and Southampton Solent universities, however following the single institution rule imposed on the league this offseason the team is now recruited directly from the University of Southampton. The position of head coach has become available due to the retirement of the previous head coach following the 2008/9 season.

Rank and Salary: no salary, however a coaching budget will be made available, amount subject to negotiations with AU

Job Description: Proven personal and professional integrity and excellent teaching, coaching and recruiting skills necessary.; create an atmosphere favorable for the athletic development of athletes; be responsible for and administer all aspects of the football program; be involved with the committee in the appointment of other coaching positions.

Experience: Previous Head Coaching experience preferred, but not essential.
