Anglia Ruskin Phantoms (BUAFL)
– Defensive Coaching Staff
I know, you have looked at the last six years of Phantoms football
and had a giggle about the blowouts and poor performances.
Want to find out how that is changing?
What could you do to make a difference?
The Anglia Ruskin Phantoms, based across two campuses in Chelmsford
and Cambridge, are looking to appoint two defensive coaches, one to act as
Defensive Co-ordinator, for the 2009/2010 and beyond.
Qualifications and experience are less important than a genuine
interest in developing new football players, improving returning Phantoms and a
real passion for football. We are
looking for people with ideas and beliefs in what defensive football should be
and the confidence and ability to communicate that philosophy.
It would be useful if you could fit into a tightly knit coaching
staff but if you have an approach, no matter how unusual or different from
conventional football thinking, and it could lead to success on the field it
will be thoughtfully considered.
There will be no money at all available to you; in fact you’ll be
expected to handle all your own expenses, registration fees and insurance. You also may have to jump through some
hoops for the Students Union as well but we will help with all that.
We have been honest with you.

Both positions are open until filled and will be appointed in advance
of our October preseason.
