The Colchester Gladiators American Football Club is
inviting applications for the newly created post of Junior Contact Head
Coach.
The Gladiators have enjoyed
massive success in recent years both on and off the field in all areas of the
club, but the most notable achievements have come in the realm of Youth
football, where we've been able to form our own youth programme which earned
playoff football in their first competitive season. Going from strength to
strength the club now boasts one of the deepest and most talented rosters in
British Youth football, and have high hopes for the future. This success over
the past 2 years has introduced a new group to the club - those eligible for
Junior football.

Junior football is growing in the UK, and the Gladiators are keen to capitalise
on the interest that is being shown in our area. Currently we have a roster of 8
Junior players, and this is only likely to grow. The club is also able to
provide playing and training equipment for the Junior programme, and so is now
seeking a motivated and passionate individual who will take the Junior programme
and develop it into another area of excellence for the club, with a view to
tournament entry and competitive status for late 2010/early 2011.
