BAFCA members are now able to take advantage of the great new coach insurance deal arranged through BAFA. The cost is just £15 per annum.

Coach insurance is now mandatory for all coaches active within BAFA events including all BAFL, BUAFL and representative football activity.

On registration to BAFCA through the normal BAFA process (including registering as a coach with BAFL and/or BUAFL), coaches who hold a BAFCA Level 1 coach qualification (or greater) will automatically pay the insurance fee and therefore achieve 'active' status.

The coach insurance covers legal liability for damages and legal costs arising out of third party loss, injury or damage in connection with activities recognised by BAFA to a limit of £5m, plus £250,000 legal defence costs.
